About European Roulette
The European wheel has one zero alongside numbers 1-36. Zero is neither red nor black, so an even-money bet does not cover half of all wheel outcomes.
Several chips on the layout can make the result harder to read. A returned amount may include the stake on a winning bet while other chips lose. Compare the balance before and after the spin to calculate the net result.
How to play European Roulette
- Choose a chip value.
- Place a chip on a number or an outside betting area.
- Check Total Bet, then start the spin using the game control.
- Read the winning number and the change in your balance.
Features and settings
The table includes individual numbers, splits, streets, dozens, columns and even-money areas. Start with one chip to learn how the layout registers bets before stacking several positions.
European Roulette demo questions
Does the BGaming European Roulette demo have a double zero?
No. This is a single-zero table. American roulette uses a different layout with both 0 and 00.
What happens to a red or black bet when zero lands?
It loses on the standard European table. Zero has its own green pocket and does not count as either color.
Why is my European Roulette return smaller than my total bet?
You may have chips on several losing positions as well as a winning one. The return from that winning bet is not the same as the net result of the whole spin.
Can I play European Roulette free without signing up?
The embedded BGaming demo uses FUN credits and does not require a TopCasinoUS account. Those credits have no cash value.
